Create an account or Log in
When you are ready to work on your page, click on log in. When the log in screen comes up, type in your user name, and password. Click on log in. Click on the name of your state, and then click on the edit tab. Remember to click on the save button when you are done making your edit. Click on sign out when you are done working on your report.
Remember your report must include: (1) a map showing major cities, lakes, rivers, mountains; (2) at least two pictures to show something about the state; (3) at least six links from the names of people and/or symbols to a webpage telling about them.

Citing Sources in Your Bibliography:
OttoBib (books only)
Citing sources: Web Site – Author. Title of site or web page. URL of site, date of publication. Book – Author. Title of book. Edition. City of publisher: Name of publisher, year of publication. Encyclopedia: Title of encyclopedia, volume of encyclopedia used. City of publisher: Name of publisher, year of publication, pages where the article is located. Photos used - Give the name of the person who owns the photo.

Making a degree ° symbol:
Hold down the 'Alt' key, and press 0176 using only the numeric keypad keys. Make sure the Num Lock light is on.
If you don't have a numeric keypad then go to Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map - then copy the symbol you want to use and paste it where needed.
If you are using a Macintosh computer you can make the ° symbol by holding down the "option" key and the "shift" key while you press the "8" key.
